Hello Pigs and Pies Cooking Class Students.
We changed our 2018 format to try to have two classes a month. However to do 2 classes, we have to have a student count of 25 to 30 each night to make it work. Last month, our Wednesday count was under 20, making a Thursday Class not tenable. So for future classes, please let me know what night you prefer and I will keep you informed if both classes will be offered. I am sorry for any misunderstandings about our Sunday Supper Class.
So, for our Seafood Class, which we plan to offer on Wednesday February 21 and Thursday February 22, the cut-off for signing up for this class will be Friday February 16 because we need to give our suppliers our seafood order, We cannot take reservations after that Friday.
For our Seafood Class we hope to show you how to
- Fillet a fish
- Properly encrust whitefish and Saute it
- How to Saute Scallops
- The Secret to Preparing Mussels
- What is an Oyster Po’ Boy
Our March Class will be Our British Isles Cooking Class on March 21 and March 22
And, Luba Schram will be back in April for our Herb Class Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19.
